Marcelo Javier Cortés, better known as Príncipe del Crochet on social media, is a designer and crocheter of amigurumis. He is a philosophy and Spanish teacher by profession, but has been devoted to crocheting and managing his social media accounts since late 2019.
He is passionate about crocheting, reading, and writing, and his work combines all these disciplines. He creates characters born from his poems and vice versa. At present, he specializes in the design and creation of amigurumis. He is constantly searching for ways of customizing his work and giving his creations an original and distinctive look.
